Jan recently participated  in a live broadcast for BBC radio to discuss the 'political marriage' of David Cameron and Nick Clegg.  The discussion involved a team of experts to include a professor in politics  and  Jan as the 'relationship expert' was able to explore with the other experts the difficulties our political leaders may face in the formation of the recent coalition government, their roles and how they might best work together.

Jan likened the 'political marriage' to that of any couple, where compromise and communication were paramount along with the ability to appreciate that the other person may well have different views on life. Jan stressed that the vital factors required for a long stable relationship are trust, honesty, effective open communication and similar goals.

Jan has also taken part in various discussion over the years with Mark Cummings, Jo Whiley and other presenters on a variety of topics to include: bullying, fidelity, Internet dating and many more.

3rd February 2012

Jan was asked to give an account of her experiences working with clients that have  been involved in 'snooping on their partners Internet activity' on  Dominic Cotters BBC breakfast Show.

Jan explained that people resort to all sorts of activities that they would not normally dream of when they feel insecure or threatened. Some people have been badly hurt in the past and trusting another person can be difficult; the desire to snoop can be overwhelming if they feel the partners is keeping secrets.
