BBC Radio

I was on the Anna King BBC radio programme, to give my opinion on the news story that had broken regarding Jools Oliver confessing to snooping at Jamie Olivers phone and emails. My philosophy is, to try and encourage people to 'trust' until the trust is broken, and I explained that as humans, we are geared up to try and protect ourselves - (a basic human instinct), and when we feel threatened ,we may resort to any means to survive.

BBC Radio with Anna King

I talk to Anna about the possible effects of having a favourite child and making this known.

In the case of one father Buzz Bishop a Canadian radio host, this was put up on Facebook for all to see. What are the possible effects as that post - is here for eternity.

We discuss the article (link below) on Anna King programme

BBC Radio

I participated in a live broadcast for BBC radio to discuss the 'political marriage' of David Cameron and Nick Clegg. The discussion involved a team of experts to include a professor in politics and myself as the 'relationship expert' was able to explore with the other experts the difficulties our political leaders may face, in the formation of the recent coalition government, their roles and how they might best work together.

I likened the 'political marriage' to that of any couple, where compromise and communication are paramount, along with the ability to appreciate that the other person may well have different views. I explained that the crucial factors required for a long stable relationship are - trust, honesty, effective open communication and similar goals.

BBC Radio

I was invited to be the local guest on 'morning thoughts' every morning on the Mark Cummings show. Exploring life and work in Gloucestershire as a counsellor. Giving the listeners an idea of my daily routine, what things frustrated me in life - and how I would spend my ideal weekend.

I have also taken part in various discussion over the years with Mark Cummings, Jo Whiley and other presenters on a variety of topics to include: bullying, fidelity, Internet dating and much more.

BBC Radio breakfast Show.

Giving an account of my experiences working with clients that have been involved in 'snooping on their partners Internet activity' on Dominic Cotters BBC breakfast Show.

I could explain that in my experience, people resort to all sorts of activities that they would not normally dream of when they feel insecure or threatened. Some people have been badly hurt in the past and trusting another person can be difficult; the desire to snoop can be overwhelming, if they feel the partners is keeping secrets.

Agony Aunt - this was fun!
